PRIVACY POLICY

GetDissed is a head-to-head rap battle app: match into a live 1v1 video battle, take turns dissing each other, and an AI judges who won. This policy describes what we collect, what leaves your device, and how to delete it.

What we collect on our servers

• An account identifier from our sign-in provider, used to attribute your ELO and battle history.
• Your ELO rating, rank, win/loss counts, win streak, and battle timestamps.
• Text transcripts of your battle turns — used to generate verdicts, your profile, and public battle pages.
• A single still image captured for your result card.
• Battle metadata: opponent, rounds, outcome.
• Abuse reports (reporter ID, reported ID, battle ID).
• Counters for rate-limiting, and your IP address for connection routing and abuse prevention.

What does NOT leave your device beyond your opponent

• The video and audio of your battles. WebRTC streams go peer-to-peer between you and your opponent. A relay server may pass the stream through if a direct connection fails, but we never record or store it.
• Your contacts, your photo library, your name beyond your chosen username.

What gets sent to AI services

To run a battle, turn audio is sent to Google Speech-to-Text and returned as text, and the text transcripts are sent to Google's Gemini API for the verdict. These providers process it under their own terms. We never send your raw video to any AI service, and we don't store these on our own servers beyond the transcript.

Public content

Your username, rank, result, captured image, and transcript may appear on public battle pages and leaderboards that search engines can index. If you don't want this public, don't battle.

Aggregated insights

We may produce anonymized, aggregate stats across all battles (like slang trends) that contain no personal identifiers, no audio, and no video. We do not sell your personal data, voice, or transcripts.

Permissions we request

• Camera — for the live battle.
• Microphone — for the live battle and turn transcription.

Children

GetDissed is 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us and we'll delete their data.

Deleting your data

In Settings → Delete account, or email samthechad20@gmail.com. We delete or anonymize your records within 30 days.
